Masterpieces in Motion: Bates Artists Take the Spotlight at the DIA!

Color, creativity, and pure imagination are taking center stage as Bates Academy artists light up the opening of the 89th DPSCD Student Art Exhibition! With over 200 stunning pieces from K–12 students across Detroit, this incredible showcase at the Detroit Institute of Arts is bursting with talent—and our Jaguars are right at the heart of it. A huge celebration goes out to Alexa McGlowan, Bailey Parks, Ki’Miyah Grant, Symone Jackson, Windsor Polk, and Adiya Green, whose artwork now graces the gallery walls, telling stories through every brushstroke and bold choice of color. Their creativity doesn’t just hang on display—it speaks, it shines, and it inspires everyone who walks through the doors through May 24. 🎨✨
